Rafiq Moosa is the CEO of Intercon Sdn Bhd. He has more than 25 years experience in the Food and Beverage industry and has spend the last five years as the Vice President of QSR Upstream Division which manages the Ayamas Processing Plant, Region Food, AIPI(Farms, Hatchery and Feed mill), Bakery and Commissary and QSR Trading.

Prior to this posting, he was the Chief Operating Officer of KFC India, General Manager of Kedai Ayamas and Deputy General Manager of Pizza Hut.

Ben Ho has been in the FMCG industry since 1997, He started his career in Pepsi before moving to Sinmah Food Industry (Farm Best).

In 2000, he joined Ayamas Food Corporation Sdn Bhd and was promoted to National Sales Manager in 2003. Ben has been the driving force behind the aggressive sales growth year on year for both Ayamas and Life brand products in both Malaysia and overseas market.

His relationship with both the Lower Trade and Upper Trade market is second to none.

Ben retired in 2015 and was appointed Consultant to QSR Trading till December 2018.

In year 2000, Ho joined Ayamas Food Corporation as Operation Support Officer. He left after 2 year to widen his experience in the FMCG segment.

In 2008, QSR offered SS Ho to re-join the company to head his previous department(Sales Admin Department). Managing the backend of the business, Ho has grown and become a key personnel in QSR Trading’s operation with much experience in sales and logistic.

In 2016, Ho was appointed Head of Division for QSR Trading Sdn Bhd. He was responsible for overall sales and operation of QSRT which had a turnover of RM350m contributed mostly through the sales of Ayamas and Life Brand.

He left QSR Trading Sdn Bhd in April 2019 as Deputy General Manager to join Intercon Sdn Bhd.

Almost 30 years of experience in Finance for Banking Sectors, Public Listed Companies, Multinationals and World-Class FMCG Branded Companies, including a stint working overseas as an expatriate. Besides leading the finance role, he was constantly involved in developing and monitoring operational strategies, basically being part of the leadership to ensure optimal performance that directly boosted bottom line figures.

His prior involvement with brands like Pepsi, Ayamas and KFC is unbelievably valuable, together with his in-depth knowledge of SKU distribution networks and logistics, both locally and internationally.

Er Shih Meng heads the team as National Sales Manager; managing a team of about 10 sales person. He has been with QSR Trading for 20 years before joining Intercon Sdn Bhd.

Ming has extremely close working relationship with both the Upper Trade and Lower Trade market.

He has been responsible in driving sales in QSRT for the Upper Trade market which contributed to the approximately 60% of the overall sales.

With 20+ years of experience in marketing, YY was involved in both FMCG and pharmaceutical industry. She is responsible to come up with all the marketing, advertising, and branding activities for Intercon.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the field of Logistics and Distribution, Zahiruddin held various positions in top GLCs and Corporations such as Sime Darby Plantation Bhd (Indonesia), Johor Port Logistics Sdn Bhd and his last stint with Ayamas Food Corporation Sdn Bhd.

He was responsible for various divisions within the organization in planning, coordinating, monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes. Before leaving Ayamas, he had successfully managed 3 plants in Malaysia which process poultry products to sell to KFC and Further Processed Products sold to distributors.
